If approaching Axbridge from the north, via the M4/M5 it's often easiest to ignore the satnav which will direct you off at M5 junction 21 (Weston-Super-Mare), instead continuing to junction 22 (Highbridge/Burnham On Sea) which avoids being taken on narrow roads and through Banwell which can be snarled up with traffic.

If approaching Axbridge from the south via the M5 come off at junction 22 (Highbridge/Burnham On Sea) which avoids being taken on narrow roads and through Banwell which can be snarled up with traffic.

For both directions, come off and take the third exit at the roundabout onto the Bristol Road/A38 heading north. Drive 6.5 miles through Rooks Bridge, Tarnock and Lower Weare before reaching the cross roads at The New Inn, and turn right here into Cross Lane. Continue until the road splits in two, a grass island in the centre and take a right before the bridge, which is the road which leads onto Axbridge High Street (watch out for traffic approaching from the left - it is your right of way but approach with caution as it's an odd junction). No.36 is a three storey pink house with teal blue doors about 200m along the High Street (see No.36 within Axbridge map attached) on the left.

A small lane (Horn's Lane) to the left of the house as you look at it leads to our driveway. Take care turning here as the lane is narrow, and take the first and only turning on the right. Congratulations, you're here!

Everything about the running of the house is on hand when you arrive, and we are next to assist with anything you might need.

Parking:

Parking is shared with the owners and we provide three guaranteed parking spaces which should allow all cars to enter and exit the driveway. Please note that our driveway is located behind the house and up a narrow lane to the side of the house, and at no point should cars be parked on the lane which would block access for our neighbours.

We encourage guests to share lifts to reach us but if you plan to bring more vehicles just let us know ahead of your visit and we’ll arrange a plan with you.
